The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official Week 9 injury report on Wednesday ahead of their matchup against the New York Giants. Seven players were held out of practice, including running back Saquon Barkley alongside wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks. Jihaad Campbell, Michael Carter II, Britain Covey, and Jonathan Jones also did not participate in Wednesday's session.
Kicker Jake Elliott, Jonathan Greenard, and Jalyx Hunt were listed as limited participants. Eight players practiced in full, including quarterback Tanner McKee, who was listed with a chest injury amid reports of being benched for Joe Milton III. Writer Brandon Lee Gowton argues the Eagles should rest Barkley ahead of their upcoming Week 10 bye.
