Klint Kubiak wasted little time bringing Cody White to Las Vegas. Now the former Seahawks receiver is back on the market.

The Las Vegas Raiders and head coach Klint Kubiak released wide receiver Cody White on Wednesday, November 4, according to the NFL transaction wire. Las Vegas parted ways with the former Seattle Seahawks player to clear a 53-man roster spot for tight end Carter Runyon to return from injured reserve. White had caught eight passes for 112 yards and three touchdowns during his stint with the Raiders.
White's departure came as receivers Dont’e Thornton Jr. and Jack Bech returned from injured reserve. As a vested veteran released before the trade deadline, White becomes an immediate free agent without needing to clear waivers. Erik C. Anderson notes that the move gives the Seattle Seahawks a potential option to pursue White for wide receiver and special teams depth following recent injuries.
