Jacoby Brissett was always going to be the Baltimore Ravens' best quarterback trade option, and they knew it.

The Baltimore Ravens are finalizing a trade for quarterback Jacoby Brissett following season-ending injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley. According to reporter Ian Rapoport, the move addresses Baltimore's critical quarterback void, though trade compensation details have not yet been disclosed.
Writer Michael Haney argues that Brissett was the Ravens' best realistic option to keep their playoff aspirations alive. Joe Fagnano is expected to start against the Jacksonville Jaguars before Brissett likely makes his debut in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
