Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected for the 26th time in his career during a Monday night game against the Phoenix Suns. Green was assessed a double technical foul after tackling Khaman Maluach and subsequently scuffling with Dillon Brooks. The altercation began after Maluach bumped into Green, prompting the forward to bring him down before confronting Brooks.
SB Nation writer James Dator noted that Green grabbed and twisted Brooks' jersey during the scuffle. Green is now three ejections away from tying Rasheed Wallace's career record of 29 ejections. While the NBA had not officially commented on the incident at the time of reporting, Green could face a potential suspension.
