Foden: ‘You have to keep putting on performances’ Enzo Maresca: ‘We cannot rely on Erling for every game’ Phil Foden is aiming for an England recall after the Manchester City attacker was left out of the squad for last summer’s…

Manchester City attacker Phil Foden has targeted a recall to the England national team, revealing he has had no contact with manager Thomas Tuchel since being left out of the World Cup squad. The 26-year-old was also omitted from Nations League fixtures this season but hopes to earn his place back by continuing to perform well at the club level.
Speaking ahead of City's Champions League match against RB Leipzig, manager Enzo Maresca emphasized that the squad cannot rely solely on Erling Haaland for goals. Foden, who recently served a domestic suspension, has scored four goals this campaign, including a European hat-trick against AEK Athens.
