New statistics suggest that Arda Güler is the most inform midfielder in Europe

Statistics indicate that Real Madrid midfielder Arda Güler has emerged as one of the most in-form creative players in Europe. The 21-year-old Turkish international leads La Liga with 39 chances created this season, alongside tallying three goals and six assists, averaging a direct goal contribution every 85 minutes. His form has helped José Mourinho's team secure six consecutive victories across all competitions.

According to data from Statmuse, Güler is the only player across Europe's top five leagues to simultaneously average over one big chance created, 0.4 expected assists, and 3.25 chances created per 90 minutes. With Vinícius Júnior set to return from suspension, writer Ben Gray argues that Mourinho cannot consider dropping Güler given his exceptional creative output.
