Wayne Rooney has publicly called out former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher for a boxing match. The Manchester United and England legend made the challenge during an appearance on boxing promoter Frank Warren's Queensberry Promotions TikTok account, stating that he would love to get his longtime rival into the ring.
Rooney credited his early boxing training at Croxteth Amateur Boxing Club for developing the physical power that helped him reach Everton's first team at age 16. Although a boxing bout has long been rumored for Rooney, he is reportedly set to appear on I'm A Celebrity later this year before considering any ring debut.
