Chelsea make major Estevao decision after Xabi Alonso is forced into U-turn

Chelsea are reportedly working on a contract renewal for Estevao that includes a significant salary increase to secure his long-term future. The 19-year-old Brazilian winger had struggled for playing time under manager Xabi Alonso, sparking speculation over a potential January departure. However, the club considers him a central figure in their long-term plans and has no intention of sanctioning an exit.

The push for a new deal follows Estevao's impressive display in a starting role against Manchester United, where Alonso praised his performance and acknowledged he deserved more minutes. While Alonso has generally favored attacking setups with Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers, Estevao's recent impact has strengthened his case for regular opportunities at Stamford Bridge.
