Jamie Carragher impressed by “revelation” signing Rogers

Pundit Jamie Carragher praised Chelsea forward Morgan Rogers on Monday Night Football, calling him an "absolute revelation" and a "bargain." Carragher admitted he was initially wrong about the attacker following his £117 million summer transfer from Aston Villa, after Rogers scored his fifth Premier League goal of the season against Manchester United.

Fellow analyst Seamus Coleman compared Rogers' movement and penalty-box runs to former Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli. Under Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, Rogers forms part of an effective attack alongside Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer, with Carragher highlighting his positional versatility and consistent scoring threat across various match setups.
