Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith pulled off one of the most dirty plays you will ever see on Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen during the Week 8 game on Sunday, and it wasn't his first time doing something like that…
Writer Mike Moraitis criticizes Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith for grabbing and twisting Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen's facemask during a goal-line sneak in Week 8. Despite the visible infraction during the play, game officials did not throw a penalty flag against Smith.
Moraitis highlights a recurring pattern of similar plays by Smith, noting an unflagged Week 2 facemask against New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough that later drew an $11,941 fine, as well as an incident with Los Angeles Rams tight end Davis Allen. Moraitis argues that the NFL should suspend Smith rather than issue another standard fine.
