Brandon Aiyuk hired a new agent, and the 49ers might soon be able to get rid of him in a beneficial manner.

Writer Peter Panacy argues that the San Francisco 49ers now have a viable trade market for wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, unlike during the previous offseason. Aiyuk recently hired agent Drew Rosenhaus, signaling a potential move toward applying for NFL reinstatement from the reserve/left squad list ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
Panacy notes the 49ers have no intention of playing Aiyuk again following his past off-field behavior and 2024 knee injury. However, several wide-receiver-needy teams, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Atlanta Falcons, could pursue him via a trade.
