The Ontario Reign continued their losing skid in a hard-fought overtime loss to the San…

The Ontario Reign suffered their fifth consecutive loss on November 4, 2026, falling 3-2 in overtime to the San Jose Barracuda. Taylor Ward opened the scoring for Ontario in the first period, while Kaleb Lawrence added a second-period tally. However, San Jose answered with goals from Brendan Hoffman and Donovan Houle before Cam Lund scored the game-winner in overtime off assists from Alex Barre-Boulet and Luca Cagnoni.
Ontario goaltender Carter George stopped 23 of 26 shots as the Reign moved to a two-goalie tandem following Hampton Slukynsky's assignment to the ECHL. Cole Guttman extended his point streak to three games with an assist on Ward's goal. Forward Kenta Isogai briefly exited after crashing into the goalpost but returned to play in the second period.
