Newcastle United and Everton are reportedly ready to invest €25m to sign Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara in the January transfer window. The two Premier League clubs face competition from AS Roma and Napoli for the Brazilian midfielder, though Galatasaray reportedly value the player at around €35m.

In addition to Sara, AS Roma and Newcastle are also monitoring Sporting midfielder Issa Doumbia, who remains a target for Brentford. However, any deal for Doumbia is complicated by his contract running until 2031 with an €80m release clause.
