Denzel Dumfries has been even worse than Vinicius Junior this season

Writer Hridyam Arora argues that Real Madrid right-back Denzel Dumfries has performed worse than Vinicius Junior this season. Despite registering an assist for Kylian Mbappe in Wednesday's match against AEK Athens, Dumfries struggled defensively and contributed to AEK's second goal. Arora contends that Dumfries has yet to produce a single good performance for the club.

The writer notes that while Vinicius Junior has largely disappointed, the Brazilian at least delivered a strong display against Real Sociedad with a goal and an assist. Arora questions why Dumfries continues to start ahead of Trent Alexander-Arnold, asserting that both Alexander-Arnold and Federico Valverde offer superior quality on the right flank.
