The Story in 60 Seconds

Former Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri's company, Sheffield 3 Ltd, has moved to dissolution after a £6.5m stadium debt settlement was completed. Set up in June 2019 to buy Hillsborough Stadium, the company accrued a £7.2m debt against lender New Avenue Projects Ltd. Documents show NAP accepted a £700,000 reduction to finalize the £6.5m payment following the club's sale to US consortium Arise in May 2026.

Sheffield 3 Ltd is set to be dissolved within 30 days, which will have no material impact on current club operations. Chansiri will reportedly receive nothing from the administration process, with remaining funds covering professional administration and legal fees.
