The young blueliner joins Manitoba and shares his thoughts during his media availability.

The Winnipeg Jets have loaned defenseman prospect Garrett Brown to the Manitoba Moose following his recovery from a pre-camp injury. Brown, a 2022 fourth-round draft pick, spoke to the media for the first time since being injured during the Prospect Challenge in Quebec. He participated in Moose practice wearing a non-contact jersey after completing injured reserve skates.
Initial concerns indicated Brown could potentially miss the entire season, but head coach Scott Arniel later confirmed the injury was less severe than feared and did not require surgery. Brown originally turned pro last season after securing an NCAA championship with the University of Denver, later appearing in four playoff games for Manitoba.
