Perth Scorchers have kept their unbeaten start to WBBL|12 going thanks to efforts from stars Beth Mooney and Alana King…

Perth Scorchers moved to the top of the WBBL|12 table with a 17-run victory over the Sydney Thunder. Captain Beth Mooney led the way with an unbeaten 80, while Sophie Devine voluntarily retired out after a scratchy 42, allowing Freya Kemp to smash 30 off 10 balls. Perth finished their innings at 3-183 before bowling out Sydney for 166 in 19 overs.
In the chase, Chloe Ainsworth took 2-24 to remove Georgia Voll and Phoebe Litchfield. Despite a late fightback during the power-surge from Laura Harris and Tahlia Wilson, leg-spinner Alana King took 4-35 to dismantle the Thunder's lower order and secure Perth's third consecutive victory.
