The South Korea international netted 12 goals in 18 months in Glasgow but only started six of his 47 appearances.

Besiktas striker Oh Hyeon-gyu is preparing for an emotional return to Celtic Park in an upcoming Europa League clash against his former club, Celtic. The South Korea international admitted he might cry if he scores, but he remains determined to showcase his improvement to the supporters while giving his all for the Turkish side.
Oh scored 12 goals across 47 appearances during an 18-month spell at Celtic before departing for Genk in 2024 and subsequently joining Besiktas for around £12m. Besiktas head coach Vincenzo Italiano noted that facing a winless Celtic side in a heated atmosphere will provide a tough challenge.
