Caleb Yirenkyi has made a good start to his Coventry City career - and it hasn't gone unnoticed…

Coventry City's Caleb Yirenkyi has been named on a ten-man shortlist by the Confederation of African Football for a major award. The 20-year-old Ghanaian international was nominated alongside prominent stars such as Real Madrid's Yan Diomande and Manchester City's Ayoub Bouaddi.
CAF recognized Yirenkyi following his breakthrough performances at the FIFA World Cup 2026, where he scored a stoppage-time winner against Panama. Since completing a summer move from FC Nordsjælland for roughly £20.85m, Yirenkyi has featured in every Premier League fixture for Frank Lampard's side.
