Inter Milan are actively working to sign Crystal Palace defender Chris Richards as they look to secure a natural center-back for manager Christian Chivu. According to L'Interista, Richards matches the club's requirements for a proven defender who fits their current wage structure and could be available for a reasonable fee or a potential free transfer ahead of his contract expiry in 2027.
The pursuit follows confirmed interest from Italy dating back to the previous summer window. Agent Alan Redmond revealed that Serie A clubs had made inquiries regarding Richards, indicating that a move could materialize during the January transfer window or the following summer.
