The Baltimore Ravens plan to start undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano at quarterback against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday Night Football. The move comes after starter Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury and backup Tyler Huntley was ruled out due to turf toe. Newly acquired quarterback Jacoby Brissett will not play on Thursday, leaving Fagnano to make his first career NFL start.
Baltimore traded for Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals on Wednesday, but the deal may not be finalized before kickoff. The quarterback shortages make Jacksonville two-score favorites heading into the Week 9 matchup.
