In this edition we usually take a look at the offense or defense as a whole. This time we will take a look at C.J. Stroud specifically. We are going to do this in three parts. The first way is…

Scott Barzilla of Battle Red Blog evaluates Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud's performance across key passing metrics to determine his standing among NFL quarterbacks. Based on an analysis of six passing statistics, Stroud registered a composite score of 8.83, ranking him as a top-ten passer across 22 qualifying quarterbacks, with statistical similarities primarily aligning with Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Kirk Cousins.
Barzilla argues that while Stroud merits a lucrative contract extension, his current value is constrained by offensive coordinator Nick Caley's scheme and offensive line limitations. The writer contends that head coach DeMeco Ryans must adopt a modern passing attack rather than conservative, ball-control football for the franchise to maximize Stroud's potential and justify a projected $60 million to $65 million annual salary.
