Rangers manager Derek McInnes revealed that defender Manny Fernandez twisted his ankle during the 1-0 Premier Sports Cup semi-final victory over Aberdeen. Despite leaving his ankle in a bit of a mess, Fernandez is expected to train and be available for Saturday's Scottish Premiership match against St Mirren. Ryan Naderi scored the solitary goal that booked Rangers' place in the final.
McInnes also shared fitness updates regarding several other injured players ahead of the December 13 final. Japanese winger Daisuke Yokota is slated to return by late November, while Ross McCrorie is set to resume training next week. Lawrence Shankland and Cammy Devlin are progressing toward a potential return to the pitch in early December.
