Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell says he has full movement in his lower body after he was taken to hospital with a neck injury during Sunday's NFL win over the Minnesota Vikings.

Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell stated he has full movement in his lower body and is making progress in his upper body following a neck injury. Campbell suffered the injury during Detroit's 19-15 win over the Minnesota Vikings after tackling tight end TJ Hockenson in the fourth quarter. The 26-year-old was placed on a backboard, carted off the field, and transported to Henry Ford Hospital for medical evaluation.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Campbell expressed optimism regarding his recovery and thanked medical personnel, fans, and the Lions organization for their support. Selected 18th overall in the 2023 draft, Campbell signed a contract extension through 2030 in May and was named a team captain this season.
