MICHAEL NICHOLSON gave Celtic fans gathered at a Q and A session in Greenock the impression that they hoped January would come early, according to a supporters' club chief. The event at the Greenock Celtic Supporters Club has dominated headlines…

Celtic chief executive Michael Nicholson reportedly indicated that the club wants the January transfer window to come quickly to strengthen the squad, according to Greenock Celtic Supporters Club president Joe Clark. Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Clark detailed a tense question-and-answer session where supporters voiced frustration directly to the Celtic board and manager Martin O'Neill regarding club leadership, communication, and transfer strategy.
Clark revealed that the board confirmed there will be a budget to spend in January, noting that recruitment decisions are filtered through a four-man panel before O'Neill makes final calls. The meeting, attended by representatives from multiple supporters clubs, ran past its scheduled finish as fans questioned club objectives and long-term planning.
