Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has addressed new abuse allegations, calling them completely false and an attack on his character. Jacobs stated that people are making up claims from past seasons after he already resolved a prior legal matter involving charges of misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property.
Jacobs credited his teammates for their support and noted that they have helped him through emotional moments. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed that Jacobs will start in Week 9 against the New England Patriots, explaining that the Packers will let the NFL handle the situation.
