The Los Angeles Lakers need to give Quentin Grimes the tools to pull himself out of his shooting slump if they want to maximize his impact.

Maxwell Ogden of Lake Show Life argues the Los Angeles Lakers must expand Quentin Grimes' role to solve their perimeter defensive woes and help him overcome an early-season shooting slump. Grimes is currently shooting just 26.1 percent from three-point range while averaging 26.3 minutes per game primarily off the bench, despite signing a four-year, $60 million deal.
Ogden contends that granting Grimes more minutes and starting opportunities would alleviate defensive pressure on Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves while improving the team's struggling perimeter defense.
