Former Cowboys star Dez Bryant has hired a high-powered law firm to help him fight off the misdemeanor charge he was hit with following a wild parking lot altercation last month.
Former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant has hired prominent attorney Levi McCathern to represent him against a misdemeanor assault charge. The citation stems from an Oct. 25 dispute outside a Southlake restaurant, where Bryant was filmed slapping a phone out of a 19-year-old's hand.
Bryant faces one count of assault by contact following the altercation with 19-year-old Noah Reyes, which began after an alleged driving dispute. While Bryant claimed self-defense, Reyes identified Bryant as the aggressor. Bryant is scheduled for a court hearing on Dec. 2.
