Jurgen Klopp has omitted Newcastle's club record signing from his latest Germany squad…

Newcastle United forward Nick Woltemade has been dropped from the Germany squad by manager Jurgen Klopp ahead of UEFA Nations League matches against Serbia and the Netherlands. Klopp reduced his previous 44-man pool down to a 24-player squad, omitting Woltemade after he struggled to impress and missed a notable chance during the previous international break.
The omission follows Woltemade's loan move to Juventus after failing to secure a place under new Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle. While Woltemade was named Juventus' October MVP following strong Europa League displays, he remains goalless in Serie A. Meanwhile, Newcastle defender Malick Thiaw retained his place in the Germany squad.
