The Chiefs head coach spoke with the media about a long list of topics on Wednesday.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid addressed several roster and injury updates on Wednesday ahead of the team's Week 9 matchup against the New York Jets. Reid confirmed that veteran kicker Harrison Butker will remain the starter despite recent struggles and the practice squad addition of Justin Tucker. Additionally, Reid noted there is a good chance Kingsley Suamataia returns to the starting lineup at left guard.
On the injury front, Reid stated that defensive tackle Peter Woods was the only player sidelined at practice due to a neck stinger. Cornerback Mansoor Delane is back at practice following a shoulder issue, while wide receiver Rashee Rice is expected to improve after successfully managing his workload in Week 8. Reid also confirmed ongoing trade deadline discussions with general manager Brett Veach.
