The Milwaukee Bucks fell short in a 22-point comeback attempt, losing 109-102 to the Boston Celtics after taking a fourth-quarter lead. In his postgame player grades, writer Jack Trehearne criticized veterans Kyle Kuzma and Jaime Jaquez Jr. for late-game struggles and questionable decision-making during the closing minutes. Kuzma received a D grade after committing multiple errors, while Jaquez went 0-for-5 from the field in the final frame.
Trehearne also assigned coach Taylor Jenkins a D+ grade, arguing that relying heavily on Kuzma and Jaquez late may have cost Milwaukee the win. Tyler Herro paced Milwaukee's offense with 25 points, including 17 in a third-quarter rally, but attempted only one shot in the fourth quarter. The Bucks next return home to face the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Cup.
