Preston Campbell has played with recruits who had “no interest in coming to benefit the club”. He has implored his old outfit to be cautious on the market.
Gold Coast Titans legend Preston Campbell has warned the club against pursuing Melbourne Storm hooker Harry Grant simply for money or lifestyle. Grant became a free agent after opting not to activate a 2028 contract option, prompting Titans chief executive Steve Mitchell to confirm the club is contemplating whether to enter discussions for the Kangaroos and Maroons star.
Campbell stressed that any signing must prioritize winning a premiership rather than disrupting squad development, particularly with emerging talents like Oliver Pascoe. Meanwhile, young halfback Zane Harrison confirmed his long-term commitment through 2029, rejecting rival interest to remain part of the Gold Coast's locked-in spine.
