Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel passed away on Tuesday after a collision during a game against FC Andorra and his cause of death has been revealed…

Tenerife striker Jesus de Miguel died from accidental chest trauma following an on-field collision, according to a preliminary autopsy report. The 30-year-old forward suffered cardiac arrest and passed away on Tuesday morning after colliding heavily with FC Andorra goalkeeper Jesus Owono during additional time of a LaLiga Hypermotion fixture on Monday.
The preliminary forensic report was submitted to court authorities in Tenerife as part of a routine judicial inquiry into the incident. Local prosecutors indicated that criminal proceedings against Owono are very unlikely, while the Royal Spanish Football Federation temporarily suspended matches and prepares a disciplinary ruling.
