The Philadelphia Eagles have decided to start quarterback Joe Milton III against the New York Giants, according to reports from Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport. The change comes after Tanner McKee went 0-3 as a starter over Philadelphia's last three games, during which the team was outscored 45-90.
Philadelphia signed Milton off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad on October 16. Chris Pflum notes that Milton's athletic mobility and powerful arm present a different challenge for the Giants' defense compared to McKee's pocket-passing style.
