The Andre Drummond experience has been uneven for the Knicks. They can change that by allowing him to shoot corner threes like he did with the 76ers.

Writer Dan Favale argues that the New York Knicks should optimize center Andre Drummond by adopting the Philadelphia 76ers' strategy of placing him in the corner for three-point shots. Favale suggests that doing so will help space the floor and create driving lanes for teammates, rather than allowing Drummond to clog the interior paint.
According to the analysis, Drummond shot 37.7 percent on corner threes with Philadelphia last season. Placing him on the perimeter is intended to alleviate spacing issues that have reportedly harmed the two-point shooting efficiencies of teammates Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Landry Shamet.
