Brandon Aiyuk has filed for reinstatement.

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has shut down speculation regarding Brandon Aiyuk returning to the team. The statement follows news that the wide receiver has officially filed for reinstatement to the NFL.
Aiyuk has not played for the 49ers since 2024 following a public fallout with the franchise. That dispute occurred after the guaranteed money in his four-year, $120 million contract was voided.
