Swansea City receive major fitness boost as influential centre-back Stephen Welsh is cleared of serious injury.

Swansea City have received significant injury boosts ahead of Saturday's fixture against Birmingham City, with Stephen Welsh avoiding serious knee damage. Scans confirmed the Scotland international suffered only a painful knock during Tuesday's 3-1 loss to Portsmouth. Additionally, wingers Moussa Yeo and Eom Jisung have been passed fit to return to the squad.
Head coach Vitor Matos confirmed captain Ben Cabango is available after managing a fitness issue. However, midfielder Stephen Eustaquio remains sidelined with a groin problem and has withdrawn from Canada duty, while Melker Widell is ruled out with a hamstring injury.
