The Tigers' Silver Slugger finalists form a triad Detroit should heavily invest in keeping at home.

Detroit Tigers players Dillon Dingler, Riley Greene, and Kevin McGonigle were named American League Silver Slugger finalists. Dingler was nominated at catcher, Greene in the outfield, and McGonigle at both shortstop and utility. Writer Katrina Stebbins argues that this trio forms Detroit's new core that the front office must commit to keeping together long term.
While McGonigle is already under an eight-year, $150 million contract, Stebbins notes that extending Greene and managing Dingler's future will test Detroit's spending willingness under Scott Harris.
