Jac Caglianone could soon join an impressive list of Kansas City Royals players as Silver Slugger winners.

Kansas City Royals outfielder Jac Caglianone has been named a finalist for the Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger Award following a breakout 2026 campaign. On November 5, Caglianone was announced as one of three Royals finalists alongside shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. and rookie catcher Carter Jensen. The nomination highlights a dramatic turnaround from his difficult 2025 rookie season, where he struggled significantly at the plate.
During 2026, Caglianone led all American League right fielders with a .289 batting average, recording 23 home runs, 75 RBI, and a 129 wRC+. He also posted an elite average exit velocity of 93.3 mph, placing him in the 97th percentile of MLB hitters. Caglianone could become the 12th player in franchise history to win the award when winners are announced on November 17.
