Ipswich Town midfielder Marcelino Núñez is having a pretty rough time of it. He’s struggling for minutes in England, and things aren’t looking much better with Chile. The 26-year-old has just been left out of the national team’s November squad…

Ipswich Town midfielder Marcelino Núñez has been omitted from the Chile national team squad for upcoming friendlies against Colombia on November 13 and 17. Manager Nicolás Córdova left the 26-year-old out following his early departure from the previous training camp after reported disputes with Córdova and teammate Lucas Cepeda.
The international exclusion adds to Núñez's difficulties at club level, where he has not played for Ipswich's first team since September 15 against Arsenal. Having totaled just 142 Premier League minutes across two appearances this season, the midfielder has remained an unused substitute or been omitted entirely from recent matchday squads.
