Fairbairn's honor comes after connecting on all 11 of his field goal attempts in October, including five from 50-plus yards.

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn has been named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Month for October, the NFL announced. Fairbairn converted all 11 of his field goal attempts during the month, including five kicks from 50 yards or more, and led the league with 43 points scored.
His perfect October featured a game-winning 49-yard field goal against the Jacksonville Jaguars and two 55-plus-yard kicks against the New York Giants. This marks the second AFC monthly honor of Fairbairn's career, making him the first Texans player to win Player of the Month since Will Anderson Jr. in October 2024.
