Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio have a chance to make Milwaukee Brewers history by winning both a Gold Glove and a Silver Slugger award in the same year.
Milwaukee Brewers stars Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio have been named finalists for the 2026 Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger awards. Having already earned Gold Gloves, both players have the opportunity to become the first Brewers in 44 years to win both awards in the same season, a feat previously achieved only by Cecil Cooper in 1980 and Robin Yount in 1982.
Teammate Jake Bauers also earned finalist recognition at first base and utility. To claim the honors, Turang must beat out Pittsburgh Pirates second baseman Brandon Lowe, while Chourio competes against a field of National League outfielders including Corbin Carroll, Fernando Tatis Jr., and Jordan Walker.
