The Indianapolis Colts plan to wait until after their Week 9 game against the Dallas Cowboys before evaluating trade offers for running back Jonathan Taylor. According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Indianapolis has fielded inquiries from multiple teams but expects to finalize potential deals ahead of the trade deadline on Monday and Tuesday, unless a blown-away offer emerges earlier.
The New York Giants are reportedly among the top suitors pursuing a trade for Taylor amid backfield injuries to Cam Skattebo and Tyrone Tracy Jr. However, Schultz reported that New York faces trade complications because they lack fourth- and fifth-round draft picks in 2027.
