The Washington Wizards are facing fresh injury concerns after Anthony Davis appeared to injure his ankle during their game against the Atlanta Hawks Davis tweaked his ankle in the first quarter against the Hawks on Wednesday. Anthony Davis Came Out…

Washington Wizards center Anthony Davis suffered an apparent ankle injury during Wednesday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. Davis tweaked his ankle in the first quarter, had it heavily wrapped, and visited the locker room in the third quarter before returning to finish the contest. Despite the injury, Davis led the Wizards with 26 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks in under 30 minutes, though Washington lost 120-105.
The ankle issue raises fresh concerns given Davis's extensive history of injuries, including calf, groin, quad, and hand ailments, as well as an apparent head injury suffered the previous week. Acquired from the Dallas Mavericks last season, Davis is currently averaging 23.4 points and 9.3 rebounds for the 4-4 Wizards alongside teammates Trae Young, AJ Dybantsa, and Alex Sarr.
