The Chicago White Sox have signed right-handed pitcher Alec Marsh to a minor league contract that includes an invitation to major league spring training camp. The move represents an injury bounceback opportunity for Chicago after Marsh missed significant time due to physical setbacks.
Marsh previously pitched for the Kansas City Royals across 2023 and 2024, compiling a 4.96 ERA over 203 1/3 innings. However, he underwent labrum surgery in November 2025 and spent the entire 2026 campaign on the injured list before being outrighted and electing free agency.
