England flanker Tom Curry is a major injury doubt for the upcoming autumn opener against Australia after pulling up during a training session on Wednesday. Fears exist that he could miss the entire November campaign, disrupting head coach Steve Borthwick's back-row options. His twin brother, Ben Curry, is now in line to replace him in the starting lineup for Sunday's clash.
England's squad is already missing injured flankers Guy Pepper and Sam Underhill, compounding Borthwick's selection issues. Meanwhile, fly-half Fin Smith is pencilled in to start after recovering from a calf issue, and George Furbank is targeting a return at full-back.
