Billy Heyen of Heavy reports that Buffalo Sabres forwards Josh Norris and Ryan McLeod have struggled significantly this season despite carrying a combined salary of nearly $13 million. Following a loss to the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday night, the duo's line faced criticism for poor underlying metrics and limited offensive production at five-on-five play.

Meanwhile, McLeod's defensive lapses contributed to Buffalo being outscored 10-4 during his five-on-five minutes this season.
