The Baltimore Ravens placed quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley on injured reserve ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jackson is set to undergo surgery on his thumb, while Huntley is dealing with turf toe that is thought to be season-ending. Both players are required to miss at least four games, rendering them eligible to return after Baltimore's Week 13 bye.
Undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano is scheduled to start against Jacksonville on Thursday night. Baltimore is also working to finalize an acquisition of quarterback Jacoby Brissett from the Arizona Cardinals, who is expected to take over starting duties in Week 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
