Burnley could have Zeki Amdouni back in the squad for their trip to Cardiff City on Saturday…
Burnley head coach Fabio Celestini has confirmed that forward Zeki Amdouni is nearing a return to action ahead of an upcoming trip to South Wales. Amdouni has been sidelined with an ankle injury suffered against Watford last month, where he scored in a 4-0 victory before being forced off. Celestini reported positive progress during training, with a final assessment planned before determining his availability.
While Amdouni could return prior to the international break, other sidelined players remain unavailable. Celestini stated that Armando Broja faces a more long-term absence, while defender Bashir Humphreys is expected to return either near the end of November or the beginning of December.
