Ruben Amorim sent a strong message to his Milan players after their shocking 2-0 Europa League defeat to Ferencvaros. ‘We have to improve, otherwise it’s over.’
AC Milan head coach Ruben Amorim issued a strong warning to his squad following a shocking 2-0 Europa League defeat against Ferencvaros at San Siro. A brace from Lenny Joseph handed Milan their third defeat in four Europa League matches, coming just days after the Italian club defeated Inter 3-1 in the Derby della Madonnina.
Speaking to Sky Sport Italia and in his post-match press conference, Amorim stated the team must improve or "it's over," taking responsibility while questioning his players' mentality. He warned that Milan are not ready to compete every three days and risk an early European exit.
